Con­cei­to :
A pai­sa­gem é a ex­pres­são pro­fun­da da re­la­ção en­tre o ho­mem, ter­ri­tó­rio, a sua di­nâ­mi­ca e o tem­po. Es­sa re­la­ção, que po­de as­su­mir di­fe­ren­tes for­mas, va­ria de uma abor­da­gem con­ser­va­do­ra que ten­ta man­ter al­guns lu­ga­res in­to­cá­veis, à que vai mui­to além dos as­pec­tos eco­ló­gi­cos e lon­ge do re­co­nhe­ci­men­to do ca­rá­ter de um lugar.

O con­cei­to des­te pro­jec­to re­si­de nes­sa li­ga­ção sim­bó­li­ca que se po­de es­ta­be­le­cer com a pai­sa­gem, lon­ge des­ses dois ex­tre­mos. Co­mo o ho­mem, re­pre­sen­ta­do por uma es­tru­tu­ra de ma­dei­ra ar­ti­fi­ci­al, po­de fun­dir-se com a pai­sa­gem, o seu ca­rác­ter e di­nâ­mi­ca bi­o­fí­si­ca, aqui ilus­tra­dos pe­lo jardim.

Pa­ra es­te pla­no a ideia prin­ci­pal foi a cri­a­ção de uma es­tru­tu­ra ar­ti­fi­ci­al que po­de­ria fun­dir-se com a pai­sa­gem na­tu­ral /​jar­dim en­vol­ven­te. Es­ta es­tru­tu­ra, atra­vés de di­fe­ren­tes co­tas foi pen­sa­do pa­ra se adap­tar à to­po­gra­fia exis­ten­te, per­mi­tin­do ao uti­li­zar re­la­ci­o­nar-se com o jar­dim de di­fe­ren­tes formas.

Con­cept :
Lands­ca­pe is the de­ep ex­pres­si­on of the re­la­ti­on betwe­en man, ter­ri­tory, its dy­na­mics and ti­me. This re­la­ti­on, that can ta­ke dif­fe­rent forms, ran­ges from a con­ser­va­ti­ve ap­pro­a­ch that tri­es to ke­ep so­me pla­ces un­tou­cha­ble, to the one that go­es far beyond eco­lo­gi­cal as­pects and far from the ack­no­wledg­ment of a place’s character.

The con­cept of this pro­ject li­es in this sym­bo­lic con­nec­ti­on so­me­o­ne can es­ta­blish with a lands­ca­pe, but far from the two ex­tre­mes. How man, re­pre­sen­ted by an ar­ti­fi­ci­al wo­o­den struc­tu­re, can mer­ge him­self with a lands­ca­pe, it’s cha­rac­ter and bi­ophy­si­cal dy­na­mics, he­re il­lus­tra­ted by the sur­roun­ding garden.

For this plan the main idea was the cre­a­ti­on of an ar­ti­fi­ci­al struc­tu­re that could mer­ge it­self to the na­tu­ral landscape/​surrounding gar­den. This struc­tu­re, th­rough its dif­fe­rent le­vels was thought to adapt to the exis­ting to­po­graphy, let­ting the user con­nect and ex­pe­ri­en­ce the sur­roun­ding gar­den in dif­fe­rent ways.
